One of my favorite parts of this time of year is the flowers. Every bodega has buckets spilling onto the sidewalk. Peonies, hydrangeas, and my personal favorite, lilies, although I've been told they're funeral flowers? Future boyfriend, if you're reading this, I'd still like lilies.
