With Halloween days away, I’m reminiscing about my Bayville Scream Park days. One year, my friend got so scared she peed her pants, and my mom had to bring her a fresh pair. Hence yesterday’s subject line. If you're feeling brave, check out NYC's best haunted houses!
Anyway, the scares don't stop after Halloween. GWAR is bringing their blood-soaked heavy metal show to Palladium Times Square in December, and we're giving away a pair of tickets. Enter to win!

The Flaming Lips are playing two intimate psych rock shows at Irving Plaza in January, featuring their new album and decades of fan favorites. Get tickets on Friday.

26.2 miles??? I can barely run ONE. God bless everyone running the Marathon this weekend. I'll be cheering from the sidelines with a bagel in hand.
